Do you bill hourly or give a flat rate?
Some cleaning services bill hourly while others give a flat rate. Tidy Tim’s does both. Except for Post Construction and Move In/Out cleaning which are billed hourly, every cleaning is billed as a flat rate.
That way you know what you are going to pay up front.
How much do you charge?
Generally, our prices start at $50.00 and go up from there.
It depends on a number of factors. For example, a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house with a living room, kitchen and dining room might be estimated $89.99 weekly or $139.99 biweekly.
Do you bill after the work is completed?
No. Payment is due at the time of service.
How do I pay?
You can pay with cash, check, or credit card.
Do I have to tip?
Tipping is neither expected nor required.
Security
Do I have to sign a contract?
The only thing we require is that our customers sign a cleaning agreement. While some companies do not use cleaning agreements we believe that it is best for all concerned. In our agreement customers can see our policies and have a clear explanation of what they can expect from our services.
Do I have to be home during cleanings?
As long as we have keys and a cleaning agreement in place you do not have to be home.
Do I have to lock up my pet?
No. We love pets, and have no problems with them being around.
Where will my house key be kept when not in use?
Your house key will be numbered and kept locked up and secured.
Cleaning
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes, we do.
If you find a problem with our cleaning we will come out free of charge and fix the problem. The only thing we ask is that we are contacted within 24 hours. Check out our customer bill of rights section for more info.
Do I have to have my whole house cleaned?
We will only clean what you want and charge you accordingly.
Who provides all of the supplies and equipment for the cleaning?
We provide all of the supplies and bring all of the necessary equipment.
Do you clean carpets?
Tidy Tim’s only vacuums carpet, we do not shampoo or removes stains.
Will you use my cleaning products of choice?
If we will be using your cleaning products we only ask that you make sure that you have enough supplies to complete the project.
Do you do laundry?
We do not do laundry, only cleaning.
Staff
How many cleaning specialists do you send?
We always send out two employees to every project.
Will I have the same staff every time?
Although we cannot guarantee that you will have the same team for every cleaning, if you have a preference we will make every attempt to accommodate your request.
Do you work on weekends?
Yes. But it depends on staff availability and advanced notice. Also, there is an extra charge for working on weekends.
Do all of your staff speak English?
Yes
Do you give references?
No. Tidy Tim’s does not give out references. Our work is guaranteed and we value our customer’s privacy. Besides, when a company gives you references how do you know you aren’t talking to the owner’s mother?
